This page is maintained by Verifyr to explain how we handle the documents and personal information you submit through our website, mobile applications, and API integrations (collectively, the "Services"). It is a plain-language description of our current practices, not a legal certification or independent audit.
1. Who we are
Verifyr provides document verification and data extraction services — including invoice auditing, identity document checks, and structured PDF intelligence. Contact: alain.nzeyimana.ai@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Documents you submit for verification (invoices, identity documents, PDFs) and the extracted fields derived from them.
- Account and contact data such as name, email address, and messages you send through our contact form.
- Billing data processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Technical data such as IP address, device type, browser, and basic usage events needed to operate the Services.
3. How we use your information
- To run verification, extraction, and integrity checks on the documents you upload.
- To return results to you and, where you configure it, to your connected systems (for example via Make.com webhooks).
- To operate accounts, process payments, provide support, and improve reliability and accuracy.
- To comply with legal obligations and to detect fraud or abuse of the Services.
4. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering the Services you request), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Services), consent (where you provide it, such as marketing emails), and legal obligations (tax, accounting, fraud prevention).
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We share limited data with the following categories of providers so we can operate:
- Hosting & backend infrastructure — for serving the site and running verification workloads.
- Payment processing — Stripe, for subscription billing.
- Workflow automation — Make.com, when you use webhook-based integrations.
- Email delivery — for transactional and contact-form messages.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Retention
We retain uploaded documents and extracted data only as long as needed to deliver the Services and meet legal, accounting, or security requirements. You can request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.
7. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege server credentials — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to reduce risk.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, email alain.nzeyimana.ai@gmail.com.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
